On Line Renewal with Windows Vista and/or Internet Explorer 8 Requires Some Browser Configuration
The system is experiencing some compatibility issues with Windows Vista and/or Internet Explorer 8. To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below to modify your browser configuration. Then, follow the link in Step 5 to renew your license on line.
| Step 1. If your menu bar looks like this, skip Step 1 and go to Step 2. | ||
| Right-Click in the area under the Address Bar on the tool bar. The menu shown below will be displayed. Click on “Menu Bar.” The Menu Bar will now be displayed below the Address Bar. | ||
| Step 2. Click on “Tools” on the Menu Bar and then click on “Compatibility View Settings” option. | ||
| Step 3. On the “Compatibility View Settings” popup form, enter “ca.gov” in the “Add this website:” field and then click the “Add” button. | ||
| Step 4. “ca.gov” should now be displayed under “Websites you’ve added to Compatibility View”. Click the “Close” button and you should now be able to access the OLPL login screen. | ||
| Step 5. Continue to On Line License Renewal | ||
