The Dental Board of California's mission is to protect and promote the health and safety of consumers by:

  • Licensing those dental health care professionals who demonstrate competency.
  • Taking action to maintain the appropriate standard of care.
  • Enhancing the education of licensees and consumers.

The Dental Board of California will be the leader in the promotion of oral health as it relates to the improvement of the total health of the people of California.
